Triangle Origami Bowls

Fill up these triangle origami bowl with sugary goodness, and leave at your desk. You’ll turn new office friends into valentine sweethearts by the 14th for sure! Read on to learn how to make these adorable triangle origami bowls.

I pulled out two of my favorite scrapbook paper pads: Recollections All Seasons and DCWV Girlhood Stack.

You’ll need three pieces of paper, cut into like-sized squares. For this tutorial, I used 4-inch squares.

Start off by folding your square diagonally in half.

Next, fold one of the bottom corners towards the top  corner.

Do the same with the other bottom corner. Undo the two corner folds.

Next, rotate the triangle. Fold the top corner towards the middle fold.

The folds should look like this.

With the other Valentine’s Day theme sheets, I repeated all the steps. You’ll need three pieces for this triangle origami bowl.

Take the first piece, and open the corner fold slightly. You’ll need a small pocket to connect all the pieces together. You’ll insert the left corner of the second piece into the right pocket of the first.

Repeat the same with the third piece.

Insert the left corner into the right pocket.

You’ll need to do the same with the third and first piece. This will connect all the three pieces together.

Flip the bowl over, and alternate the layers to hold three pieces together.

You can use scotch tape or double-sided tape to lock in place.
